Charcoal on watercolour paper – As a child we would go on holidays to my grandparents holiday house on Mitchells Island on the Manning River. The memories of fishing, beach days, bush walks culminating in returning the house where we would smell the freshly fried fish mum would cook evoke a nostalgia. This is what I imagine that house would look like today.
