Blackstone Gallery Works on Paper Prize

Our annual works on paper prize started during the lockdown of 2020 as a way to stay connected and to give local artists something positive to put their energy into. We were so impressed by the entries and the positive feedback we decided to make it a yearly event.

Each year a theme is provided as a starting point for the artists. Selected works are featured in the Finalists Exhibition held in November. The winner takes a cash prize and a fully sponsored exhibition at Blackstone Gallery.

Judging of the prize is done by experts of the highest calibre - artists and industry professionals - to provide us with and overall winner and an honourable mention. The public are invited to vote for a peoples favourite award in the lead up to the finalist exhibition.
